Job Details:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Pharmacy Manager to participate in daily dispensary operations, work in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate would have strong leadership qualities and actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment. We are looking for a pharmacist with a passion and interest to develop and implement patient focused programs. In addition, the Pharmacy Manager will adhere to the duties and responsibilities set out by the NSCP and be responsible to ensure the efficient operation of the business to achieve financial targets and deliver on budgeted Key Performance Indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
- Must be dedicated and focused on patient needs in order to deliver quality service
- Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions
- Provide professional advice to patients on prescription and OTC products
- Fully utilize scope of practice including prescription adaptation, renewing or extending a prescription, therapeutic substitution, minor ailment prescribing, medication reviews, etc.
- Administer injections/immunizations as requested in order to maximize patient care
- Provide complete and accurate documentation as required by the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists and insurance providers (private & public)
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations
- Create awareness and educate patients through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- License to practice in the province of Nova Scotia
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Previous Management Experience considered an asset
- Immunization and injection permit
- Experience providing expanded scope of pharmacy services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- pharmacist: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Nova Scotia Pharmacist License (required)
