About the role
The role is quite clinical with all hepatitis C patients and the candidate should have a solid clinical background, preferably with CDE.
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide services related to the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures
- Ensure Administrative responsibilities for the store
- Providing exceptional patient-centered care. Should be registered with Alberta College of Pharmacists.
- Maintain good standing with the College of Pharmacy and an updated CPR certification
- Maintaining a professional setting for retail and community outreach
- Maintaining a compassionate environment and supporting patients
- Maintaining and protecting patient confidentiality
- Maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship among health care professionals; responding to requests, building rapport
- Contributing to team effort and corporate goals
- Perform clinical and drug distribution responsibilities as required.
Job Specifications & Qualifications
- Licenses to have mandatorily are ACP or APA, any other certifications can serve as asset
- Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment for all colleagues.
