As ATB’s next Marketing & Communications Manager, you are a key implementer, who is fiercely accountable for assisting in the strategic development and assessment of marketing programs that support achievement of the business goals. As part of the Everyday Squad, within Culture, Communications & Marketing, you play a critical role in driving business results by leveraging your understanding of ATB solutions, clients and channels.
Delivers results:
- Develops marketing and communications plans in support of business growth and strengthening client experience.
- Leads (often by influencing others) the implementation and evaluation of marketing plans.
- Responsible for activating all components of a marketing and communications plan, including creative briefing & approvals, channel confirmation, offer approval/fulfillment, internal communications updates, ongoing client/market research and the tracking of key measures (KPIs) to determine success.
- Monitors results relative to plans and the overall marketing strategy, highlighting key learnings and optimizing as needed.
- Works within an approved budget and timeline; while delivering on objectives and effectively managing expenditures.
Integrates solutions into strategic squad work:
- Develop and design together within the squad framework strategic launch plans/support plans to ensure client-centric assets are delivered and deadlines are achieved.
- Uses data, client and competitive insights to provide marketing expertise around how and which solutions/advice are best to leverage, as well as how we might improve upon existing strategies.
Creates value for clients and stakeholders:
- Partners with our business stakeholders, providing expertise on product launch plans/optimizations/migrations, as well as audience targeting, key messaging and pricing/promotional offers.
- Relationship oriented: proactively builds and maintains relationships with key partners.
- Activates cross-organizational stakeholders to successfully implement programs.
- Growth mindset, proactively seeks and brings forward improvements and new ideas.
- Collaborates with other members of the Squad in an agile scrum structure.
Requirements
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Marketing
- Digital marketing expertise (Google analytics, media platforms, benchmarks, measurement)
- Strong foundational understanding of marketing tactics (campaign planning/execution to optimizing marketing mix to measuring success)
- Experience working with media platforms (traditional, digital, social and direct)
- Ability to uncover insights (client, category, environment) and leverage them to bring ATB’s Story and the marketing plan to life
- Client-centric focused, experienced using customer personas, journey maps and research to understand how we can minimize pain points to better meet client needs
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven track record of delivering results
- Strong project management, team building and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning that positively fuels marketing strategy, outcomes and leadership.
Considered an asset:
- Financial Services experience
- G-Suite experience
