Opportunity
The Community Outreach Coordination & Integration Program delivers an integrated coordinated response to vulnerable people in Chilliwack by providing a service delivery model for at-risk, high need individuals who require an intervention-based non-emergency response, often directly related to substance use, mental health, and homelessness.
The part-time Community Integration Outreach Workers will be part of a larger team of two full-time Outreach staff with backgrounds in social work, housing, substance use and mental health. Our program is expanding from 5 days a week to 7 days a week, and we are seeking part-time staff to provide 4-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, as well as some overlapping hours during the work week. The CIOWs will provide front-line intervention and assessment of needs and support, through case management, coordination of the services required, and the follow-through for ensuring the best success of these coordinated efforts. We are seeking permanent part-time staff that would work 17.5 hours/week. *AVAILABILITY FOR WEEKEND SHIFTS A MUST!*
