Custom Team and Corporate Apparel Coordinator
The Hockey Shop Source for Sports is looking to grow our Team Sales Department with an additional Full-time Custom Team and Corporate Apparel Coordinator. Our Team Sales Department outfits teams, associations, and businesses in branded apparel/equipment for clients around the world. You will work closely with a small team of dedicated staff who love working with people to make clients the best custom apparel and gear for their needs.

The Hockey Shop is a family-owned business currently located in Surrey, British Columbia. At the Shop, we live and breathe hockey. We made a name for ourselves offering exceptional customer service and selection, and long story short, we still do. What began as a local pro-shop has become an international hockey superstore.
Beyond offering a friendly and accommodating environment for customers of all experience levels, we shoot to provide a welcoming environment for our employees as well—whether you yourself play hockey, are a super or casual fan, or even if you’ve never seen or been involved in the sport before. Just as your hockey team is like your family, The Hockey Shop works to encompass that same supportive and entertaining atmosphere day in and day out.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with new and current customers to establish their Team and Corporate apparel/equipment needs.
- Fulfilling custom apparel/equipment orders from start to finish
Your day to day will look like something like this:
- Manage the in-store retail team sales area by greeting customers and answering phone and email inquiries.
- Maintain the visual displays of team sales merchandise and ensure proper inventory levels are available.
- Assist in the apparel production room as needed. Tasks include debagging product, weeding/masking vinyl, heat pressing, sorting, and folding.
Ongoing tasks will look like this:
- Assist with the planning and execution of in-person apparel fittings or setting up sample sets for larger organizations
- Order and manage merchandise and samples for the in-store Team Sales Department
- Ensure team sales retail area is clean and samples are neatly tucked away.
Our ideal candidate has prior team, corporate, or sporting goods sales experience and/or graphic design experience. They have excellent computer skills with great attention to detail when it comes to fulfilling customer orders accurately. Experience in hockey or other team sports is considered an asset.
Shift pattern is Tuesday to Saturday 9:30 – 6:00.
Starting wage ranges from 18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on previous experience and knowledge. Position can range from 35-40 hours a week. Working team apparel fittings (the occasional extra evening or weekend) during our busy period is a requirement.
Note: We are currently located at 10280 City Parkway in Surrey, BC but will be moving to 20202 66 Ave in Langley during the Fall of 2022.
A Class 5 driver's license is required.
