Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a creative and think outside the box individual. They will work to identify talent (internal & external), while promoting the company brand. She / he will manage the full cycle recruitment process while ensuring an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers. Creativity is highly desired with an ability to have a pulse on market trends and innovative solutions
- Full-cycle recruiting: provide seamless service, from identifying staffing needs to the onboarding and integration of employees.
- Work closely with managers to become a partner in analyzing their needs and searching for top talent.
- Coach and train hiring managers on effective interview and selection techniques, equipping them with the skills necessary to move through the recruitment cycle confidently and seamlessly.
- Intake meetings, strategic sourcing, candidate identification & selection, salary determination, and offers of employment including negotiations.
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline, acknowledging all applicants, and engaging in regular communication.
- Manage written and verbal communications with candidates throughout the interview process.
- Contribute to improving processes and operations related to talent acquisition.
- Propose innovative solutions in talent acquisition in a market experiencing labour shortages.
- Identify strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of candidates for your assigned portfolio.
- Keep abreast of the latest market trends in talent acquisition.
- Establish connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect talent through your network.
- Build creative online presence for the company talent brand.
- Promote diversity & inclusion initiatives throughout all company levels.
- Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company at identified networking and industry events, job fairs, conferences, campus recruiting, etc., promote our culture.
- As assigned, manage special projects that advance the mission of the company.
