Job Description
The plant account role is a key role in our organization, that will oversee the accounting function in the three legal entities in Canada and the US. The applicant should have 2-3 years similar experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to work remotely and on site with multiple teams.
Key responsibilities:
1) Perform month end activities within the established timelines
2) Conduct post month end analyses and submit required returns/ filing as required
3) Full ownership on the balance sheet and maintain up to date balances and reconciliations
4) Suggest processes improvements and work with multiple teams to facilitate the implementation
5) Supervise the payroll process and insurance compliance with internal and external policies/ regulations
6) Work directly with the finance director and leadership team as well as the operation team in the three sites
7) Perform other tasks as requested by the finance director and the president.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
