Position: Customer Care Assistant
6 month contract (with possible extension leading to permanent role)

This opportunity within our Real Estate Development division focuses on the needs of our new home buyers. Aquilini Development has delivered thousands of homes ranging from single family homes to townhomes to apartments, across the Lower Mainland and BC. Currently, our portfolio has a large component of master plan communities developed in partnership with the First Nations. We are proud of the work we are doing with our Indigenous Partners and strive to bring forth a more affordable option for homeownership in our market. One of our most recent completed communities is Tsawwassen Shores which is now fully occupied with over 550 families.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Care Assistant. As a Customer Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their home ownership entire experience. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager you will become a customer facing representative of the Aquilini Development brand.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Support the Customer Care department including the Customer Care Coordinator and Customer Care Manager in day to day departmental activities.
- Conduct homeowner walkthroughs prior to completion along with key handovers at completion
- Meet with homeowner at closing to review closing package, key handover, confirm walkthrough items are complete, show owner’s location of parking/garbage room/storage lockers, building amenities etc.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners by managing Customer Care email thread, incoming phone calls, and support the delivery of a positive homeowner experience
- Support the Customer Care Coordinator to track post-occupancy deficiencies
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary measures to enhance customer experience
- Prepare homeowner closing packages and manual with support from CCM
- Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and relevant information
- Delegate and manage crew schedules and ensure inspections and repairs are scheduled and completed in a timely manner
- Assist in development and implementation of customer care strategies, policies, procedures
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Passion for real estate development and community building
- A customer service-oriented personality with a firm but fair approach when dealing with home owners extra requests
- Punctuality and diligence for arriving at meetings prepared and on time.
- A team player, personable with a positive outlook on every situation
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a strong willingness to learn and be challenged
- Outgoing, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Particular attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Disciplined with time management, capable of working under pressure with multiple projects and tasks with simultaneous deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Office 365)
Required Training and Experience
- 2 years work experience in customer service
- 2 years work experience administration
Working Conditions
- The successful candidate will be required to travel to different sites and must have access to their own vehicle
- Time will be split between in our downtown head office and on the construction site in Tsawwassen (safety PPE will be provided) in varying amounts depending on project timeline
- Parking is provided and mileage will be covered
