Job Description
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Objective:
The Retail Warehouse Admin Assistant will be responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the retail warehouse by assisting in the management of receipts, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Responsibilities:
- Generate receipts using packing slips from vendor shipments
- Liaise with the client MCA department via email or calling to resolve discrepancies, obtain correct purchase orders, request information, report errors, and follow up on replies or requests
- Generate receipts in the WMS
- Generate tickets
- Update receipts as required
- Print tote labels for distribution purposes
- Assist with WMS implementation, responsible for wave processes, generation of shipments and manifests for daily cut-off times, ticket making by wave, and work with Team Leads with wave planning
- Act as a backup to Customer Service Team Lead
- Assist the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor as requested
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse setting
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as required.
