Our Kirkland Lake, ON location is currently recruiting for a full-time Shipper / Receiver / Delivery Driver. Shipper / Receiver / Delivery Drivers are responsible for the processing of incoming deliveries, preparation of products for shipment and delivery of parts to customers. As Shipper / Receiver / Delivery Drivers interact directly with our suppliers and customers they are expected to represent the Company with exceptional customer service at all times.
As a member of our team the Shipper / Receiver / Delivery Driver will unpack and sort deliveries, enter stock into our computer system, perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and will also:
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
- Record any/all shortages in received goods
- Inspect and verify all incoming product matches our order invoices (and other applicable documents)
- Perform spot-check quality control of received product (rejecting damaged goods)
- Pack product for shipping
- Receive payments for goods delivered and handle payments for goods received
- Efficiently deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers on a pre-determined route
- Other duties as required
We are looking for a candidate that has excellent customer service skills, is self-motivated, passionate, in addition to:
- Valid Class G driver’s permit
- Familiarity with the Kirkland Lake area (streets, landmarks, etc.)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Aptitude in basic writing and mathematics
- Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently (within a structured environment)
- Previous shipping / receiving experience (an asset)
- Previous experience as Delivery Driver (an asset)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience working in a team-based environment
- Superior time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories (an asset)
- Knowledge of tools and equipment (an asset)
