Job Description
Schuett’s Furniture & Appliances is a family owned and operated since 1906 located in Mildmay. We are currently looking for a self motivated part time Delivery Driver who is enthusiastic, hardworking and can work both independently and as a team member! Our hours are Tuesday-Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturdays from 9am-5pm. We are closed Sundays and Mondays!! Responsibilities include:
- loading and packing the delivery truck with furniture to deliver it scratch/damage free to the customers home
- assembly of furniture
-unloading of delivery trucks to our warehouse
-removing of old furniture/ appliances
-switching out window displays etc.
-Maintenance Work (washing windows, cleaning work truck, shovelling snow from pathways/sidewalks, garage/recycling trips to the dump etc.)
The ideal candidate is able to handle heavy merchandise with great care, commitment to providing our customers with the ultimate delivery experience!

-Excellent time management skills
-Problem solving and ability to pivot quickly
-Pride in their appearance and manners
-Friendly, helpful and courteous at all times
-Safe and good driving skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as a team member
-Valid G licence and a clean driver’s abstract
-Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
-Has reliable transportation to and from work
-Able to use GPS on cell phone to find directions when needed
-Must be available some Saturdays
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
