We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. Your expertise in cloud computing, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) will be essential in improving the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, and Digital Ocean.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless and automated software delivery using TeamCity, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
Implement and maintain configuration management tools to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and availability issues, and proactively implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide recommendations for enhancing our infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, OCI) and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD, etc.) and version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system monitoring tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enjoys video games.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, etc.).
Knowledge of infrastructure security practices, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Understanding of database administration and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Experience with serverless computing frameworks (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.).
