JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Programs , the Digital Campaign Specialist will support our team’s campaigns and day-to-day operations. You’ll work in a multi-faceted role and be responsible for leading digital projects, preparing reports, quality assurance of our digital properties, mass marketing and supporting fundraising events. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong organization skills and an excellent eye for detail.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in collaboration with team members who are subject matter experts in digital marketing, user experience design, online fundraising, and web development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone new to digital marketing to build experience within a large digital team environment.
The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is seeking a Digital Campaign Specialist to support internal clients in fundraising, brand, advocacy, and education campaigns.
The successful individual will work with the Digital Programs Manager to develop strategies for fundraising and mission initiatives within your portfolio. The incumbent will provide strategic guidance on integrated campaigns across all digital channels: email, website, SEO, paid online advertising, and social media. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for campaign project management and account management of internal client stakeholders. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, digital strategy, and likes to keep their technical skills sharp.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Act as first point-of-contact for digital consultations and strategy in your portfolio.
- Lead digital activities through the entire project cycle: strategy, planning, execution and analysis.
- Manage overall delivery of all digital activities within your portfolio: including project timelines, schedules, coordination with external and internal teams, etc.
- Code, design, A/B test, and deploy email marketing campaigns.
- Develop strategies for social media
- Develop reports and provide data-driven recommendations to inform future strategies and plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
- Work closely with Bilingual Digital Copywriter and local field staff to create compelling campaign content.
- Work cross-functionally with members of the Brand Team and Communications Team to create integrated campaigns across Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned channels.
- Ensure CCS’s visual identity and web development standards are respected in all digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Digital Team to improve processes and share best-practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in digital marketing or digital fundraising.
- Demonstrated expertise with: website CMS, content marketing, e-mail marketing, search engine marketing, social media, and Google Analytics.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to lead client / project meetings.
- Strong relationship-management skills and comfort communicating with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Close attention to detail; the ability to prioritize, and excellent time management skills to deliver high quality work for multiple projects while meetings aggressive deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with online data collection, analysis, and report development.
- Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Powerpoint and Excel.
- Proficiency in Photoshop.
