We invent, customize and license wide-angle vision solutions that use wide-angle lenses and imaging software technology for AI, machine vision and user applications. From capture to display, in the mobile, automotive, robotics, drone, security, & other industries, we enable hardware and software manufacturers to equip smart devices with the best vision possible.

What you’ll do
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications, the Director, Marketing and Communications is responsible to oversee the marketing strategy of Immervision, to drive all corporate communications and to support the sales department in growing revenues. In this role you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, execution and measurement of success of all marketing strategies and activities.

As Immervision’s primary representant, the chosen candidate will ensure the international brand awareness and be a key influencer in the industry and in relationships with the company’s various partners. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building a full marketing strategy and extensive experience working in the high-tech field. You have a passion for personal and professional growth and solving very unique marketing challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage the strategic marketing direction of the company, define the marketing plan and ensure its deployment
- Manage public relations communications including web strategy, corporate communications and social networks
- Actively take part in the innovation strategy
- Drive marketing campaigns, measure and optimize ROI
- Develop and execute a plan to increase the company’s brand awareness and its image
- Plan and coordinate external collaborators creative work
- Define objectives and performance measures and produce analytical reports
Competencies
- Ability to drive the marketing strategy with a transversal vision and from an unconventional angle
- Be able to identify operational priorities based on the company’s sales objectives
- Good understanding of emerging technologies and leading high-tech business trends
- Ability to persuade and challenge to achieving goals with an innovative approach
- Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations internally and externally
Preferred Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or communications
- 10+ years of experience as a senior in marketing’s key functions
- Experience in international technology company
- Experience in agile project management and able to develop, execute, lead, and maintain complex projects, programs, and assignments
- Strong skills in digital marketing strategy
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel frequently (20 to 30% of the time)
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English and French), with an ability to speak effectively to business development leaders, executives, and engineers
- Mandarin, Japanese or Korean language proficiencies is an advantage
