Join our dynamic team as a Director of Learning & Development! In this role you will oversee and optimize the learning and development initiatives within the organization. Provide vision, guidance, and expertise to ensure the organization's workplace has the knowledge, skills, and capabilities necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide strong leadership to a team of learning professionals, including instructional designers, trainers, and learning consultants.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of learning programs, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, microlearning, blended learning approaches, and other innovative learning methodologies.
- Develop and deliver leadership development programs that enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of leaders at all levels.
- Evaluate, select, and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies to support efficient and scalable delivery of learning programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify performance gaps and develop performance support solutions.
- Implement on-the-job training, job aids, performance coaching, and other resources to improve job performance and accelerate employee development.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and subject matter experts to understand business needs, anticipate future skill requirements, and align learning initiatives with talent development strategies.
- Ensure learning programs comply with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
As The Successful Candidate, You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design, adult learning theory, and learning program management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing innovative learning solutions, including e-learning, blended learning, and mobile learning.
- Knowledge of learning technologies and learning management systems (LMS). Experience in selecting and implementing LMS platforms is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Bilingual is an asset
