We design and distribute powersports parts and accessories (snowmobile, ATV/UTV, motorcycle & marine) for all of North America. The products we sell are literally TRIPPANT, and we love snow!
The job of Foreman in our distribution center consists mainly of:
The job of Foreman in our distribution center consists mainly of :
Coordinate and manage the work of some twenty unionized employees, mainly for picking, packing and shipping tasks.
Ensure that orders are dispatched according to different priorities
Participate in or lead daily team meetings (5 min. meeting)
Participate in problem-solving related to warehousing and orders: inventory discrepancies, product relocation, search for incorrectly located products, order problems, etc.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company regulations, procedures and the collective agreement.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum DES combined with training in personnel management, administration or related field
3 years' experience in distribution and managing unionized personnel
Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
Comfortable with technology and automated systems
Excellent French, functional English
Desired personal skills
Mobilizing leadership, excellent communication skills and ease in directing others
Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and stress
Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and judgment
Good decision-making skills in action
