Work location:Home Office 1303 Yonge StCity:TorontoWhat you will do:The Marketing Manager of Food & Beverage will apply their passion for food and beverage to support marketing strategies for a diverse range of snacking, QSR, and FSR foodservice concepts across the Cineplex, The Rec Room, and Playdium brands. The role is accountable for managing and executing food and beverage marketing initiatives focused on driving guest visitation and spend, fostering a sense of value and affinity for our product offerings, and creating synergies with leading food & beverage brands. The role is also responsible for leading marketing strategy for out-of-home revenue channels, including e-commerce platforms, and home delivery apps.Responsibilities:
- Gather marketing data and insights, supporting brief writing, participating in creative review, managing timelines, and tracking key deliverables for menus and F&B campaigns
- Influence guest behaviour throughout the customer journey by managing and maintaining owned consumer-facing F&B campaign touchpoints
- Partner with relevant stakeholders and vendors to ensure campaign dependencies are being met, campaign assets are to spec and delivered on time, and trafficking schedules and trackers are updated and maintained
- Maximize partner synergies by supporting vendor-driven F&B marketing initiatives, ensuring campaign objectives align with Cineplex’s marketing objectives
- Support in driving out of home revenue by leading marketing support for online food, beverage, and retail sales channels, including concession mobile ordering, home delivery apps, and online retail store
Qualifications:- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Hospitality or Business Administration, or similar education/experience
- Experience working with creative agencies; from insight development and brief writing to managing creative asset development, production, asset management and delivery
- Experience developing strategic, targeted marketing communication plans; leveraging customer and competitive insights to optimize the customer journey, including traditional and digital touch points
- Experience with menu, hospitality (QSR or FSR), or foodservice marketing (ie. CPG, grocery), or experience working in partnership with F&B brands, preferred
- Strong project management, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage own workload while multi-tasking to meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment
- Ability to manage and operate comfortably at a tactical level
- Ability to influence across and up without reporting line authority
