Position Summary
The Forklift Operator supports the supply chain by moving, collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products. This individual will be responsible for the operation of technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal business operation.
Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items using forklift trucks and other material-handling equipment
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
- Securing loads to the machine before transportation
- Inspecting, operating and managing technical equipment
- Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment
- Identifying workplace safety hazards
- Adhering to production schedules
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 2+ Years of Forklift Operation
- Forklift Certification
