Full Stack Developer
RedPoint Media Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work on our content-rich websites and newsletters and develop new digital projects with our team. This full-time position will start immediately. RedPoint Media has a hybrid office setup offering employees the opportunity to work from home or from the co-working space at CSpace Marda Loop. Some face-to-face meetings as well as event attendance are required.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.

our opportunity
The RedPoint Full Stack Developer will:
- Assist with developing project vision and strategic goals for existing and new digital initiatives
- Offer suggestions for ongoing improvement, and add or remove features as necessary
- Coordinate with team members to assess digital project needs and plan accordingly
- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
- Design, create, and maintain websites and digital projects for The Scene, Avenue, and other new titles
- Develop front-end website architecture
- Design user interactions on web pages
- Develop back-end website applications
- Create servers and databases for functionality
- Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
- Remain updated on developments in web applications and programming languages.
our ideal candidate
Our Full Stack Developer will have:
- Proven prior experience as a full stack developer or in a similar role
- A degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field is preferred
- Website development experience, with a preference for content-rich site development
- Database development experience
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
- Strong time management and organizational skillss
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem solving skills
