Job Description
As a Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of gameplay systems for a multiplayer game. You should be able to work independently on complex systems, as well as lead and mentor other programmers. You must be able to work with a wide range of technologies and have a strong understanding of game engine functionality.
As a senior programmer, you will help Technical Director, Team Lead to mentor junior team members by sharing your experiences, and training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and test technical solutions.
- Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans and manage time effectively.
- Identify and High light technical risks and ways to mitigate
- Follow and enhance existing development processes.
- Coordinate with the design/art team to create new game features.
- Debug and fix issues in the existing code base.
- Collaborate with required stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, and peer programming to increase code quality
Requirements:- 5+ years of game development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C#, C++.
- Strong experience with any commercial game engine (Unity 3D, Unreal)
- Online / Network programming experience.
- Well-versed with Build Pipeline / CICD / Advanced Source Control.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with a large, existing code base.
- Knowledge of low-level system architecture.
- Knowledge of software development environments and associated tools. (i.e. Visual Studio, Perforce, JIRA,Git)
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- B1 level in English, both verbally and written.
- Experience in publishing at least 1 game on App store/First party / AAA game.
Nice to have:- Master, Bachelor, or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering. (desirable)
- Experience with backend /full stack.
