WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Psycho Bunny is looking for a creative Animator Graphic Designer who has an eye for design and shows amazing attention to detail. Reporting to the Lead Graphic Designer, the Animator / Graphic Designer will be responsible for executing the brand look and feel and developing innovative motion designs while helping the brand elevate digital communications across various channels including: newsletter design, web and content pages, digital marketing, social campaigns, banner campaigns, and more. As part of the creative team, the animator / graphic designer will provide input in creating design solutions that meet the brand vision that support growth and profitability across the omni-channel ecosystem.
HOW WILL YOU DO IT?
- Create content across a number of projects, including but not limited to compositing, advanced motion graphics (2D and 3D), video editing, animation, kinetic typography, color correction, and current motion practices.
- Graphic design for emails, digital media banners, paid social ads, and digital animations static or animated.
- Design animated graphics for various digital advertising and entertainment purposes, social platforms, etc.
- Take part in elevating projects and brand creative outputs.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts follow the brand visual identity and are visually appealing.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
- Assist on various creative projects.
- Help to develop realistic production timelines maintaining schedules and status-updates to prioritize and manage daily workload, ensuring work is completed on time.
WHO YOU ARE
This is what youve accomplished
- Degree in Motion, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts or other related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience preferably in the retail industry.
- An expert with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
This is what youll contribute to the team
- Strong design background, including composition, color and typography.
- Excellent understanding of best practices in all social platforms.
- Possesses a strong ability to manage multiple projects at once and is results oriented.
- A critical eye for ones own work and the work of others, with the ability to provide constructive criticism and propose solutions.
- Ability to perform in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of digital animation software (After Effects or other).
- Strong knowledge in video editing software (Adobe Premiere or other).
- Knowledge of current web programming languages and frameworks are a definite asset (HTML 5, CSS).
- Familiar with responsive design, UI / UX and wireframing is an asset.
- Strong, effective and clear communication skills in French and English, with an ability to adjust messaging appropriate to the audience.
