The Opportunity: Under the direction of the Marketing Manager and the Graphic Design Lead, the Videographer/Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, shooting, and editing video production to support the Sault College brand. The incumbent is responsible for creating video content for both traditional and digital channels. The incumbent is also charged with creating and producing high-end designs, illustrations, layouts, and visual images for both traditional and digital channels.
The incumbent must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite for both video, traditional and digital applications. The incumbent must also be proficient with digital video equipment.
What you need to be successful:
- Three-year diploma in Digital Film and/or Graphic Design or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience in a creative role
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (traditional, digital design and video)
- Experience with handling and use of latest video equipment and post-editing software
- Drone experience is an asset.
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- High level of interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven creative conceptual abilities.
This is a full-time support staff position, 35 hours/week, Payband H - $33.38-$38.75/hour (starting rate $33.38/hour). This position is Hybrid Flexible.
NOTE: I/O, Appendix D and PT staff are considered internal.
