Basic Function: We are accepting applications for seasonal positions in our Graphics Unit to assist withgraphic production work on a Mac/PC platform for the Summer of 2023. This position will also assist and provide support in implementing the Strategic Plan.
Responsibilities:
Provide in-house graphic production work.
Proofread work for accuracy spelling and punctuation.
Present production work to Graphics Supervisor
Ensure the correct Zoo brand image is maintained in all work.
Ensure that all advertising/promotional and signage pieces are complete and accurate.
Manage work time, workflow and schedule in order to meet tight deadlines.
Sign movement and installation.
File digital photo images
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a post secondary Graphic Design Program
Previous graphic production work on both Mac and PC platforms
Exceptional portfolio displaying a variety of mediums (print, web, display, advertising)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator & In-Design,
Sufficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Detail-oriented and resourceful
Organized and dependable
Able to multitask, work quickly and meet multiple deadlines.
Energetic, self-motivated and results oriented.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently.
Quick-thinking, be able to prioritize, and be very detail oriented.
Ability to exercise discretion, judgement, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
