JOIN OUR TEAM
The HR Administrator is the first point of contact upon entering the HR department. The successful candidate would be responsible for a number of administrative duties in support of recruitment, onboarding, payroll & benefits, and training. This position is well-suited to someone who loves to work with people and has strong organizational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participate and provide assistance/administrative support to the HR team;
- Create and maintain personnel files
- Maintain and keep various HR databases and systems up-to-date
- Assist with any required payroll and training needs, including, but not limited to, processing service awards, general data entry, filing, reporting, etc.
- Assist with recruitment needs, including, but not limited to, shortlisting and routing candidates, conducting reference calls, scheduling interviews, preparing interview packages and generating offer letters
- Assist with Onboarding needs, including, but not limited to, creating orientation packages, managing onboarding paperwork, scheduling training sessions and updating training schedule
- Provide relief coverage for booking employee travel
- Maintain key control
2. Act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the HR Department;
- Determine individual's needs or requirements, and direct them accordingly
- Process employee receipts for HR and payroll
- Create employee verification letters
- Create employee badge & ID cards
3. Perform other duties as required.
CORE SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory
- Detail oriented
- Advanced Computer Skills: MS Teams, MSWord, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to interact with all levels in an organization
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy
- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion and diplomacy
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in office administration considered an asset
- 1-2 years administrative experience, preferably in an environment that demands confidentiality
- Previous experience in HRIS or ERP systems considered an asset (SAP or similar systems)
