Human Resources Administrator (Job 290)
Job Type: Full-time, one-year contract with benefits

The OUAC is seeking to fill the position of a Human Resources Administrator to assist with the ongoing maintenance of HR related tasks and support for reception and events.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform HR administrative tasks for recruitment and selection, employee registration, file management, data retention, etc.
- Assist with employee HR orientation and additional training, as required
- Promote wellness initiatives and positive employee relations
- Assist with the maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Time and Attendance software
- Provide back-up/support for reception and events
Qualifications Sought:
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certificate or working towards a CHRP
Abilities/Skills:
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- Diplomacy, tact, professionalism, and high attention to detail while maintaining the confidentiality of employee records
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Disciplined, organized and reliable work habits
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and a basic knowledge of other computer software e.g. Adobe Acrobat and Visio
- Prior experience with HRIS, Time and Attendance software and/or TWiki system would be an asset
Hybrid remote work arrangements may be available after the probationary period.
