- We are a service department concentrating on enrichments by enlisting your strengths and empowering you for continuous improvements
- Addressing manager and employee inquiries regarding recruitment, labour relations, HR policies & procedures, employee performance, compensation and benefits
- Human resource information systems reporting and utilization; initiative and continuous improvement are required for this journey of change
- Benefits administration
- Record maintenance for all documentation relating to hiring, benefits and terminations
- Human Resources and Payroll functions as cross training will be expected
- Coordination of Government Sponsored Summer Student Programs as well as Student Recruitment and hiring
- Monthly HR and adhoc reporting, surveys, query creating and other information requests
- Minimum of a diploma in a related area, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Two years’ correlating experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent change management skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Organizational, written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Peoplesoft
- Ability to perform and communicate in a highly professional and effective manner, in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work with and process confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
This is a Full-time Continuing Administrative appointment on the Vermilion campus commencing as soon as possible. Lakeland College offers an attractive pension, remuneration, and benefit package. This opportunity will provide growth and career-building within Human Resources.
