Job Description
Act as a Business Partner with leaders of all groups, keep abreast of the changing internal and external business environment and influence decision making to ensure that it is in line with best practices in HR management. Provide advisory services and coaching to internal clients for all areas for Human Resources; participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of human resources processes, policies, programs and procedures.

- Lead the employee recognition program across the organization.

- Oversee leave programs, authorized absences (CNESST, WSIB, maternal, parental and paternity leave).
- Advise and support supervisors and clients in key areas such as: labor relations, application of HR policies, skills development, etc.
- Participate in the collective bargaining process.
- Coordinate annual corporate surveys and meet with each respondent group
- Participate in grievance resolution, mediation and interpretation of collective agreements.
- Participate in all other Human Resources related activities(employee engagement, retention & recognition program, planning and organizing company events, involvement in fundraising for Centraide, participation in the representative employment equity committee- diversity & inclusion, etc).
- University degree and completion of a recognized Human Resources Management Program
- Certified CRHA; demonstrated integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Good understanding of Canadian and Provincial Employment Standards and legislation.
- Experience in the interpretation of collective agreements and working in a unionized environment.
- Proven experience as an Human Resources Business Partner (5+ years).
- Experience in coaching and supporting teams.
- Analytical and critical-thinking abilities to assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Speak, write, and read English and French fluently.
