What Will You Be Doing?
- Provide support to employees in various P&C related topics such as policies, procedures, leaves, and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Participate in development of P&C objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports.
- Partner with other P&C departments with projects and assist with implementation of P & C policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Standards legislation.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee toolkit, maintain employee files and records in electronic form.
- Participate in workforce planning, conduct investigations as required.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes as required.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation as required.
- Draft Employment Agreements for all employee status changes.
- Connect with leaders to produce job descriptions.
- Respond to employee’s and leader’s questions and/or concerns through Service Desk Plus.
- Prepare wage and terms spreadsheet, using the template provided from valuations and information provided from the merging clinic.
- Prepare onboarding packages including employment agreements, welcome letters, and presentation for incoming clinics.
As The Successful Candidate, You Have:
- Fluency in English and French, written and spoken.
- 1-3 years Human Resources experience
- University degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration
- Knowledge of Ultimate Software (UKG) or relevant Human Capital Management system or Human Resources Information System
- Knowledge of employment legislation (Employment Standards, WCB, OHS, Privacy Act, etc.) and common law practices.
- Knowledge of recruitment and selection process.
- Experience with Health & Safety initiatives is an asset, but not required.
- Completion of a CPHR designation is considered an asset, but not required.
