RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Canadian human resources function and contribute to the ongoing development of the firm’s culture and employee well-being in a hybrid, post pandemic environment.
- Lead and direct routine human resource functions / activities (in conjunction with external providers) including health coverage, vacation, payroll, and assist in the implementation of a group pension plan.
- Identify and coordinate recruitment needs of our Montreal and South shore locations and manage the recruitment process. Initiate recruitment initiatives.
- Supervise new hire onboarding.
- Maintain and monitor Tim Horton's human resource policies to drive continuous improvement.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma
- Fluent in both French and English
- 2-4 years’ experience in a Human Resources role is required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic with professional integrity and a positive, proactive attitude
- Independent and highly organized in order to keep track of all HR initiatives.
- High attention to detail
- Pro-active in identifying value add initiatives.
- Computer proficiency with full MS Office Suite
- Polished, energetic, and professional demeanor
