Position Summary:
The Key Holder is responsible for supporting the Style Director and sales team in achieving all company goals and initiatives. The Key Holder represents the brand, operates in a professional manner, engages customers, maintains store standards and supports teamwork. The Key Holder has a direct reporting relationship to the Style Director, Management Team and Owners of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Is aware of customers activity and responds with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks
- Greets and engages customers to provide the Zumel&Co standard of service and styling
- Exercises sound judgment in effectively addressing customer concerns
- Demonstrates exceptional styling and selling skills so as to achieve daily targets
- Maintains appropriate stock levels and ensures that all sizes and styles are represented
- Follows company standards of merchandise presentation, signage and display
- Embraces responsibility of assigned tasks
- Supports maintaining a clean, organized and efficient stockroom while adhering to Zumel & Co. standards and safety requirements
- Performs daily housekeeping duties to Zumel & Co. standard
- Guarantees company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention Procedures
- Proactively contributes to creating a team atmosphere that is professional and enjoyable
- Constructively shares suggestions, ideas and concerns with appropriate Store Leadership
- Handles cash responsibly and ensures proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Acts as Manager on Duty to handle client concerns and lead junior team members with support of upper management.
- Assists Style Director with daily tasks
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Retail shop experience 1-3 years preferred.
- Retail Key Holder experience 1 year preferred.
- Women's Fashion Wear experience preferred.
- Flexible Schedule Preferred. Weekend availability a must.
Business Knowledge and Critical Skills:
- Demonstrates time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrates passion for customer service
- Demonstrates a passion for fashion
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business; could include evening, weekend and on-call shifts
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom
