Ichor Health is now accepting resumes for a casual in clinic Medical Laboratory Assistant.
Ichor facilitates private blood testing by collection client specimens and shipping them to various 3rd party laboratories around North America. Our Medical Lab Assistants are responsible for client check in and interaction, collection of specimen, processing of specimen, shipping of specimen, and delivery of client results.
CANDIDATES MUST:
- Be extremely proficient and confident with venipuncture, being able to quickly find difficult veins while keeping clients calm and providing an overall positive experience.
- Have strong experience with APL / DynaLife requisition forms and experience working in a patient service center.
- Have strong computer skills for keeping client manifests in spreadsheets, ordering tests and printing labels, and using Ichor's proprietary software for check in and payment processing.
- Have excellent personal and communication skills, a happy and positive personality is key.
- Have a strong sense of pride and ownership in ones work.
- Be able to multitask, plan, and organize all aspects of the work.
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $23.50-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Phlebotomy: 5 years (required)
