Job Description
You will actively monitor, analyze and benchmark the performance of marketing campaigns and programs throughout the customer lifetime cycle and to provide insights, analysis and specific recommendations on how to improve performance to exceed goals.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to Manager, Marketing Insights and Analytics
- Collaborate with partners to understand the business, allowing issues discovery, and helping translate them into technical requirements
- Foster a culture of measurement, defining SMART goals linked to our strategy
- Gather and analyze primary sales, marketing and performance data for integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Design analytical dashboards and reports for programs to demonstrate their contribution to organizational performance against KPIs
- Create marketing insight through analytics across multiple sources of information; this includes incorporating relevant customer demographic information and proprietary systemic data into analyses and drawing meaningful linkages where applicable
- Use available technology to analyze campaigns; this includes the correct use of formulas, functions and charts/graphs for effectiveness and meaningful presentation based on level of audience
- Coach end-users on how to self-serve on dashboards/reports built by the team, so they can get speedy answers to 80% of their questions autonomously
- Post-secondary education in Business, Analytics, Statistics, and Marketing field (Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution)
- 2 years' experience in an analytical role in a Marketing area
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications; Excel (can perform complex functions), and PowerPoint; this includes proficiency with the use of formulas, functions, graphs and charts
- Experience with digital analytics and measurement tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience with combining Data Visualization and Data storytelling to communicate insights
- Experience with Data Architecture and Data Modeling
- Work within a team environment and collaborate with partners
- Experience with SQL on BigQuery considered an asset
- Experience in the payment processing industry
