As our Marketing Manager, you'll:
- Be the Brand Boss, who will create and carry out the Brand vision and Marketing plan with cool campaigns, events, online marketing, and public relations
- Be the Social Media Maven, who will run our social media accounts and make programs to boost our reputation and brand awareness
- Be the Data Wizard, who will provide short and long-term market predictions and reports, keep tabs on the market and what customers want and give smart suggestions based on that
- Have the final say on all marketing and public relations materials that we share
- Be the Network Star and find new business opportunities and make marketing strategies to get new customers
- Talk to all media outlets and make sure they say good things about us on print and online
- Work well with the company’s Sales & Product Management teams to give them the tools, materials and presentations they need to do their job
- Manage the Key Accounts Marketing Associate who is in charge of campaigns for important merchants
- Make plans and strategies that support the growth of our payment services
- Research and go to relevant industry events to make OTT more known in the market
- Act as project leader for our different marketing campaign projects
- Get content creation that shows the value of our products/services
- Build and manage a marketing calendar that attracts a good audience (including email, blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.)
- Improve our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor’s in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales and/or marketing (or something equally impressive).
- If you don’t have at least 5+ years of experience being awesome in B2B and B2C marketing management for a Canadian financial services company, this may not be your vibe.
- Experience within the fintech, payments or credit card industry (mega bonus points)
- A virtuoso in project management and communication, including the ability to manage internal communications, multiple deadlines, budgeting, timelines, diverse stakeholders and audiences (because we’re all in this together)
- A master in digital and email marketing strategy, and marketing automation platforms
- An ace in content marketing, copywriting, event marketing and social media marketing.
- A confident, driven, and dynamic leader.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot branding opportunities.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker that is results-driven.
- Master communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
- On fire with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
- Bilingual in both English and French would be a plus.
- Nice to have: Experience in trade shows and conferences and related marketing and logistics
This position is not remote or hybrid (sorry but we prefer seeing you in person everyday) and is expected to report to our Leslie Street Head Office from Mon - Fri 9:00am to 5:30pm.
