About the Role:
The Marketing Manager role will support our agencies and regions to grow their business by providing the tools, support and guidance they require to be successful. This role includes a mix of agency support, web content management, content creation, marketing collateral development, web marketing and social media. You should have a solid understanding of what makes a great website, have good communication and customer service skills and possess a thorough understanding of social media.
This will include:
Review & re-development of corporate marketing materials
Promote marketing tools to agencies
Provide guidance on marketing communications, both internally and externally
Manage email marketing campaigns
Manage, support and promote use of custom-built content management system
Maintain corporate web presence
Develop and implement strategy for head office social media channels
Provide guidance and support to agencies on their use of social media
This role will work in conjunction with a part-time graphic designer, both under the leadership of senior management.
Requirements:
Marketing diploma or similar
3+ years experience in a marketing role
Experience in social media
Experience in web marketing
Excellent communication & organizational skills
Basic project management skills
B2B experience a bonus
Graphic design skills a bonus
Content/writing experience a bonus
Travel industry knowledge a bonus
This role would ideally be based in Vancouver, with an expectation to be in our downtown office approximately twice per week. We are willing to consider a fully remote candidate if that candidate has one or more of the bonus skills listed - most importantly experience in the travel industry.
