Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing - OGGTA, you are responsible for creation and execution of marketing and promotional materials for the GTA bundle. You are a highly engaged team member committed to producing the best quality product with the goal of improving guest satisfaction and earning guest loyalty.
You are focused on driving guest retention and guest centric initiatives and engagement, while supporting our bold and innovative development plans which include gaming expansion, hotels, entertainment, spa, retail and exciting food & beverage amenities.
As our ideal candidate, you are an energetic, team focused and detail oriented, skilled at driving culture change and with proven knowledge, skills and abilities to execute the key accountabilities below while supporting the company’s vision, mission and values.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinates implementation of the GTA bundle marketing program, including all details throughout a promotion, campaign or special event (e.g., merchandise, activations, dreamer promotions, entertainment, VIP events, incentives, prizes, supplier commitments, property décor, etc.).
- Assists with fulfilling the strategic direction of campaigns, promotions, partnerships, and group sales at the bundle level; identifying opportunities for revenue growth and brand awareness.
- Liaises with marketing operations team members to report on site marketing results (e.g., event revenue, implementation strategies, best practices, guest and team member feedback, etc.).
- Assist and execute Digital Marketing with updating website, social media initiatives and email marketing campaigns.
- Maintain internal tracking documentation for weekly marketing meetings.
- Manage communications with third-part vendors upon request.
- Ensure a culture of respect, listening, caring, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Support a culture shift to an atmosphere that is guest and entertainment centric
Education and Qualifications
- Completed post-secondary education in Marketing or Digital Marketing.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience is preferred, ideally in gaming, hospitality or entertainment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on their own, or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Proven interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance and execute projects and perform under tight deadlines with competing priorities.
- Computer fluency in MS Office and Apple iOS with superior organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Practical knowledge of WordPress, social media and email marketing.
- Ability to speak multilingual is considered an asset.
