Position: Marketing Coordinator
Location: Calgary, AB
Kathairos is currently seeking a standout marketing coordinator to join our team and lead the continued growth of our brand recognition, reach and return across North America’s energy industry, clean tech ecosystem and beyond.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this is a full-time role based out of our Calgary, AB office. Our ideal candidate will bring standout skills, creativity and curiosity to the role, and a desire to strategize and implement a wide range of modern marketing tactics. They will possess unparalleled communication skills and a passion for building meaningful partnerships – both digital and in-person.
They will know how to support and enable business development goals and growth of the company through strategic sales and marketing opportunities. They will thrive on collaboration, innovation, and further establishing the company’s place as a world-leader in transformative energy technology.
Roles and Responsibilities
With internal and external support as needed, the successful candidate will lead a world-class multi-channel, cross-border marketing strategy that will see them:
- Develop a deep understanding of the US and Canadian regions in which Kathairos operates, and the regulatory, messaging and strategic distinctions between each
- Craft exceptional written content that furthers our position as leaders in the methane elimination and clean tech landscape
- Develop and manage the company’s content marketing efforts across our blog and social channels, and oversee external resources for graphic design, photography, videography and beyond where applicable
- Manage and update website content and search optimization strategy
- Create and oversee sales and marketing collateral and presentation materials
- Strategize and implement highly targeted digital ad campaigns
- Lead PR and media outreach efforts, and identify opportunities for earned media coverage
- Pursue and further the company’s strategic partnerships within the clean tech and energy ecosystem
- Lead our promotional events and trade show strategy
- Pursue thought leadership, award and speaking opportunities on behalf of the company and its team members
- Foster and build collaboration across the Sales, Data, Projects, Operations and Executive Leadership departments and team members
- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, impact and opportunities
- Benchmark and report on key marketing metrics and impact
- Grow the overall awareness, interest and understanding of the Kathairos brand across North America in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our continuous growth
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a corporate or agency marketing role
- Firm understanding of marketing data analysis and benchmarking methods
- Thorough knowledge of marketing strategy, platforms, tools and best practices
- Proficiency in Canva, Squarespace, MS 365, Salesforce and social media marketing tools
- Familiarity with social and web analytics (i.e. Google Analytics, LinkedIn insights)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- BA or similar credential in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline
