Job Overview
OASW is looking for a versatile and data-driven marketing professional to join our team in the new role of Marketing Coordinator on a full-time contract (12 months). Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing and measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts, as well as supporting communications, member engagement and customer service. Working on a team alongside three associates and one manager, you will also work closely with the professional development, engagement, and policy and communications teams to help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement marketing tactics to promote the Association's services, including professional development offerings, corporate events, engagement networks, awards, research products and reports, and membership benefits.
- Support website management.
- Draft, format and distribute email communications using an HTML editor.
- Develop organic and paid content for social media.
- Track performance metrics on a monthly basis.
- Keep up to date on best practices related to UX/UI, member journeys, renewals and retention, and data management.
- Support the planning and implementation of an annual Social Work Week and Social Work Month campaign.
- Support the coordination of translation needs.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications or related field of study.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong copywriting skills and a good sense of design for email, social media, and other digital tactics to create engaging assets.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing, measuring and reporting on marketing tactics.
- Demonstrated project coordination skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally to support multiple departments and initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Committed to ongoing learning, professional growth, and seeking development opportunities.
- Experience with the following platforms will be considered an asset:
- iMIS (membership management system)
- Adobe Creative Suite and/or online design tools (Canva, Piktochart)
- Constant Contact (HTML email marketing)
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (intermediate to advanced knowledge)
- Social media management and analytics (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Hootsuite)
- HTML (basic to intermediate knowledge)
- Google Analytics (basic to intermediate knowledge)
- Simple Survey
- Asana
- Experience in a non-profit organization, the social work or social services sectors or a membership association will be considered an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English) will be considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment and travel regularly to the main office in Toronto.
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Hiring Range: $38,000-$46,000
