Marketing Coordinator

- Coordinates and assists with the marketing activities of a product or business line which may include advertising, pricing & rebate, direct mailing, traditional print and all things digital, web management, social media, and customer/vendor events, conferences and trade shows.
- Markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns by implementing and optimizing marketing strategies.
- Tracks sales data, maintains promotional materials inventory, maintains databases, and prepares reports.
- Responsible for managing Zurn Elkay Canada’s National WorkBack Schedule along with relevant/respective sales & marketing tracking documents.
- Plan/coordinate industry events, trade shows, associations, affiliations etc.
- Support field and rep agency network with all marketing requirements.
- Manage the national coop program designated by senior management.
- Prioritizing product and customer requirements, helping to define the product vision, in field training, merchandising, etc.
- Ensures online presence of Zurn Elkay Canada is up-to-date and effective.
- Assist the sales team in analyzing product performance, product competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops strategies for assigned product/brand based on research and analysis.
- Ability to generate marketing collateral/content, presentation material and support the sales marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content.
- Assist the sales team in identifying product simplification opportunities in the Canadian market.
- Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels and manage promotional vendors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director or Corporate Marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field (preferred)
- 3+ years experience in marketing, preferrably in B2B products
- Good writing/administrative skills, including computer skills (MS Office)
- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.
- Experience using data analytics software for research.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Profficient in using Photoshop and other graphic/design programs
- Team oriented and strong people skills
- Strong business acumen – detail oriented, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
