As a Lead Cloud Engineer at SITA, you will be engaged in various missions and assignments that will regularly test your ability to use Cloud technology and automation to tackle large-scale challenges.

What you must have:
5+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of:
Designing, configuring & implementing network solutions with Palo Alto, Panorama
LAN & WAN networking, TCP/IP, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols
Application Gateway, Front Door WAF, Loadbalancer, Virtual WAN, Route server within Azure
3+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of:
Developing and provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within Azure platforms via automated scripts using Python (or equivalent) and Terraform
Using DevOps tools and processes to create pipelines using CI/CD, or other such as Jenkins or ADO
Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies or concepts, review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions
Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and adapt communication style to different audiences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conducting presentations, demonstrations and knowledge sharing to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Leading & influencing decision making, whilst driving engagement & collaboration across teams & business units.
What you will do:
- Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to build out our Cloud platform connectivity stacks through design and automation
Participate in Agile ceremonies to help deliver our products and reach delivery on project commitments within our team
Utilise your technical knowledge to drive the delivery of scalable & secure network resources
Participate in design and feedback workshops to improve our services and quality of work
Lead new design and service catalogue standards and instructions
Assist in solving issues with the Cloud services & platform related to network connectivity
Assist and provide end-to-end resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors
Build Cloud network connectivity architectures & systems. Participate in design reviews and deliver on those designs
Who you are:
You have experience building Cloud Network infrastructure and business acumen for keeping security, cost, performance, and complexity at the top of your mind
Passionate about everything automated, including crafting and evolving CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or GitHub following GitOps principles
Excited to bring order to Cloud automation standards
Possess strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, excellent communication skills, strong team player and ability to collaborate across business units
You are someone who will fit into our Agile team and will be able to impress our internal development teams with your real-life experience and knowledge!
