Work location:CPX Winston ChurchillCity:OakvilleWhat you will do:Front of House (FOH) VIP Experience ManagerCineplex’s Front of House (FOH) VIP Experience Managers are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional entertainment experience to each and every guest. The FOH VIP Experience Manager leads, supports and manages a dedicated team of employees to maintain good working relationships, perfecting service standards and day-to-day operations. If you thrive in an energetic, fast-paced and social atmosphere, this may be the opportunity for you!In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Enforcing all policies and procedures by coaching, motivating, and training FOH employees
- Hiring and reviewing staffing levels for host/hostesses, servers and bartenders
- Maintaining ambience throughout by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, flatware, dinnerware, monitoring food presentation, maintaining an immaculate dining area
- Reconciling of end of the night funds
Qualifications:This role may be a perfect fit for you if:- You have a minimum of 2 years of previous management experience in a bar, licensed restaurant, or similar environment
- You have a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- You have strong computer literacy and mathematical skills
- You have a college or Hospitality degree (preferred)
- You have safe food handling and smart serve certification (preferred)
- You are organized and have strong communication skills, with the ability to establish an instant rapport with Guests and employees of all demographics
