We are currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for our Kelowna Location at Kids Creative Therapy.

Our Pediatric Occupational Therapists focus on working with families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and other expansive developmental delays. Our therapists take a holistic, team approach with their clients and their families and liaise with other therapy partners to implement tailored strategies and reach positive goals for each client.

We provide expert, tailor-made, and individualized Occupational Therapy solutions at Kids Creative Therapy. We offer community, home, and clinic-based services. We aim to provide the highest quality care for families of children with special needs in the Okanagan while exceeding our client’s expectations.
We offer private pediatric services. Your diverse role would include comprehensive assessments, individualized therapy plans, play-based therapy sessions, parent education, training and coaching and team collaboration.

Remuneration: Negotiable
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current, complete registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, on the Registry of Autism Serves Providers (RASP)
- Prefer at least two years of pediatric occupational therapy experience
- At least one-year experience working in Canada
- Knowledge or experience in Sensory Integration Therapy and the DIR/Floortime model would be to your advantage

Salary: $48.00-$55.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

We have stringent cleaning, PPE, distancing and screening protocols to keep our valued clients/clinicians safe during in-person interactions and continue virtual services for high-risk clients or those uncomfortable with in-person sessions.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- occupational therapy: 1 year (preferred)
