Qualifications:
- You have a University Degree in Occupational Therapy
- You are a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO)
- You have a valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle
What is a day in the life of a FA Occupational Therapist?
- You will assess and treat individuals suffering from various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health and injuries
- You will assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and in a community setting
- You will create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
- You will liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
- You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions and establishing personal networks
