M|CARE Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation is a leading Occupational Therapy clinic in Ottawa and Montreal. M|CARE offers specialized occupational therapy services to children, teens, adults and older adults in the community.

Our clinic is looking for bilingual motivated, hard-working and self-driven occupational therapists to join our growing teams in Ottawa, Gatineau, Montreal and/or St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
We are looking for occupational therapists who have a strong interest and experience working with either a paediatric or adult clientele. We also offer the possibility to build a mixed caseload.

We are looking to fill positions for Occupational Therapists who have 3-5 years experience, and Senior Occupational Therapists who have an interest in entering a Management Role.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, families and other health professionals to support your client goals;
- Complete assessments and support clients in treatment towards their goal attainment;
- Develop and oversee treatment programs for clients;
- Be able to work in a team and to strive for excellence and advocacy for your clients;

Clientele profile:
- Clients who present with physical, cognitive, emotional, sensory and/or psychosocial difficulties;
- Support required to help clients improve their occupational performance in their daily activities and occupations;
- Support to help clients thrive by collaborating with their partners, assessing and modifying their environment, and striving for optimal fit to improve their overall function.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate:
- Is self-directed and able to work independently;
- Is motivated to learn new skills
- Has the ability to be flexible and adaptable through their communication skills;
- Has strong clinical reasoning and problem solving skills;
- Holds a university degree in occupational therapy;
- Has a current registration in good standing (or ability to register) with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO);
- Has a current registration in good standing (or ability to register) with the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ);
- Has a membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT);
- Has experience working with a paediatric/adult population (2 years + preferred);
- Has an interest working in the community;
- Has professional level proficiency in both English and French (oral and written) (an asset);
- Holds a driver's licence and has access to a vehicle;
