About Thrive Occupational Therapy
Thrive Occupational Therapy (Thrive OT) is a locally owned and operated company dedicated to serving children (ages 1-19 years) and adults within the Halifax Regional Municipality area and across Nova Scotia.
We deliver person-centered services to children in our clinic, as well as in their homes and within school-based settings.
We are a company that celebrates the individual differences of each child using a sensory motor framework, as well as play and emotional connections, to support the development of motor, behavioural, cognitive, and social skills.
Job Description
Thrive Occupational Therapy is currently hiring for a part-time (2 to 3 days per week) Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. It is expected that this could develop into a full-time position, if desired by the successful applicant; however, a full-time commitment is not required.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year pediatric experience. This is a sub-contractor position and the caseload will primarily be working with the pediatric population (ages 1- 18 years). Experienced Occupational Therapists are preferred and compensated accordingly.
The Occupational Therapist will need a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel up to 2 hours outside of Halifax. Alternatively, if you are living near Bridgewater, Truro, or in the Valley, we would be happy to speak with you. Travel will be compensated.
