Job Description
Duties:
- Be the face and voice of our clinic, whether on the phone or welcoming patients at the front reception desk
- Must have a personality that quickly puts people at ease
- Manage the front desk, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls
- Maintain patient files and ensure accurate documentation
- Collaborate with therapists to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies for the clinic
- Handle any patient complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Timely submissions of all claims to insurance companies and follow ups regarding unpaid claims
- Managing WSIB approvals and overseeing WSIB/MVA billings
- Assisting the Physiotherapists as needed
- Be enthusiastic about working for our patients and deal with patient inquiries, including complaints efficiently
- Must have a strong, independent work ethic and the ability to also work well as part of our team
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Assist with Community outreach, Physician liaison, Marketing and promoting clinical services
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Physiotherapy/Rehab clinic or a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette
- Proficient in using computer software for file management and calendar management
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
