Group Division:
VeriForm is viewed as a leader in metal fabrication of complex parts and assemblies. This includes comprehensive design, build and assembly while working very closely with clients. It is the first division to do hand held quality control laser scanning for inspection, replacing CMM systems. And where laser welding is replacing TIG welding, creating faster, cooler welds without distortion and much smaller HAZ.
JOB POSITION: Veriform Site Operational Leader
REPORTING TO: President Arrow Engineered Products Division
DIRECT REPORTS : Site Supervisors / Team Leaders
Reporting to the President of Arrow Engineered Products, the Arrow Engineered Products VeriForm Site Operational Leader will be responsible for all activities in the plant and contribute as part of the Arrow Engineered Products (AEP) operations leadership team. They will have responsibility to contribute to and execute the local site P&L and collaborate with divisional shared services (supply chain, engineering, quality) and corporately shared services (IT, finance, human resources, health & safety) to construct and achieve the established goals. They will provide effective and engaging leadership to set priorities with team members and will proactively take initiative to execute new ideas and strategies that complement the organization’s vision to maximize safety, quality, on time delivery and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Under the direction of the President and in conjunction with other Site Operations Directors, develop and execute an Annual Operating Plan for AEP – including top line business & EBITDA growth, operating objectives, strong cash flow performance, cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Monitor, analyse and report on the progress of the production area in meeting annual goals to maximize business concurrent with decreasing costs as appropriate
- Build and lead a high performing team to deliver operational excellence and outstanding customer service
- Champion Arrow’s culture, core values in the development of an engaging culture at the local level
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with existing and new customers to support site and divisional growth
- Collaborate with and lead launching of new products locally, ensuring alignment to quote
- Effectively lead, mentor, and grow talent within site
- Develop and drive operational initiatives around standard work and process improvements using lean manufacturing principals
- Responsible for the delivery of site KPIs, including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Work collaboratively with Arrow shared services functional leaders to attain customer requirements and business growth
- Manage communication throughout the organization through town halls and operations team meetings
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years in an operational management or supervisory role
- 10+ years experience in hands-on machining, welding and/or fabrication is required.
- Proven ability in engaging teams and effectively drive people development
- Superior project management, operational planning, interpersonal relations, communication, and effectively coaching team members are essential to be successful in this role.
- Significant knowledge around MRP systems, operational reporting and advanced excel knowledge is highly preferred
- Proven ability to drive results around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
- Six Sigma certification, an asset

- Safety Metric – medical assist and lost time
- Quality Metric – customer incidents and internal scrap rate
- Delivery Metric – on time to customer date
- Cost Metric – lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
