Hawkstone Physical Therapy is an established and thriving Physical Therapy clinic, where positive patient outcomes are the number one priority. We are looking for a positive, outgoing, motivated and dynamic individual to join our team.
We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist for a Full Time OR a Part Time position.
The caseload primarily consists of private paying and MVA patients, however WCB, AHS and Ortho clientele are also treated. The clinic serves patients seeking treatment for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a strong concentration on sports injuries, spinal conditions, post-surgical rehab and MVA injuries.
The job duties include assessment of musculoskeletal patients, creation and implementation of a comprehensive treatment plan, and thorough documentation and charting. Certification in spinal manipulation, acupuncture and/or IMS would be a considerable asset. Knowledge and interest in exercise prescription is required. The ability to develop strong patient rapport is also necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree of Science in Physical Therapy
- Good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta
- Malpractice Insurance
- Experience with an orthopaedic caseload and desire to provide comprehensive care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player attitude with a strong understanding of time management and multi-tasking
This position is ideal for a physical therapist who is interested in working in a busy clinic alongside experienced PTs (AP, IMS, FCAMT certified) in a team environment with a motivated patient population. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new or recent grad who has an interest in further education and mentorship. The successful candidate must value comprehensive patient care.
