The Work:
Lead and coordinate the supply chain optimization for the strategic procurement department within the organization.
Take ownership and responsibility of projects under the program by working with the project manager, key stakeholders.
Prepare and present progress reports, risk, cost and earned value of both projects and initiatives to the leadership and executive team.
Develop an overall project milestone schedule integrating multiple suppliers and business units.
Be involved in multiple projects dealing with the development of our products, in-service opportunities, and modification programs.
Filter proposed changes based on data, analyze their relative value for the Program and recommend profitable business strategies.
Set and communicate the project priority and strategy.
Manage risks & opportunity and take corrective and proactive measurements to resolve them.
Develop and track key performance indicator to measure program performance and proactively resolving opportunities.
Actively support technical and contractual review meetings with customers/supplier, as well as internal legal team.
Communicate appropriate Program strategies and provide project status visibility to the Program Office.
Team lead responsibilities within the client account team including; onboarding, support across the team, business development opportunities, and performance of the team.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a program role or project management
- Strong strategic procurement experience
- Comfortable with the contractual/legal environment
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in presenting to executive level
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; including experience with negotiation and diplomacy
- English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Bonus points if:
- PMP certification or project management diploma would be an asset
- Experience working with MS Project and MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel
