The Product Marketing team is looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to join our passionate team to change the way the world works! This team is responsible for the overarching product marketing strategy that influences the go to market of our full suite of solutions, including product launch and post-launch activities, ensuring successful product placement and demand creation and managing the entire product lifecycle process. As a Product Portfolio Marketing Manager, you will define the go-to-market planning, marketing content and KPI’s related to the success of your assigned product portfolio.
- Define the market opportunity for a product/solution; perform segmentation and targeting exercises that identify the segments with the highest propensity to buy
- Conduct market and customer research to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs, and the purchasing decision process for the product, including key buyer roles
- Develop portfolio positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience
- Equip our sales teams for new releases by explaining what is new with the product and why it matters by providing internal cheat sheets, developing sales demo scripts, and creating presentations that demonstrate how the product makes a customer’s life better.
- Collaborate with marketing peers and resources to produce relevant content for target buyers
- Develop the competitive comparison guide for use in positioning against similar offerings from other organizations and other sales and marketing tools as required
- Collaborate with our sales and support the sales enablement team to craft an enablement plan · Write content that can be used on product and solution web pages, in marketing collateral such as whitepapers, or in the demo videos that you help produce.
- Manage launch planning and orchestrate the execution of the commercial release of a product
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and manage sales pipeline data? Assist formalized customer marketing function to drive retention
- Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts
- Ensure that deliverables are delivered on time and within scope.
- Flexibility to take on other duties as assigned based on business and project needs
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Design or equivalent
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and on-time delivery
- Strong understanding of salesforce.com
