CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious Project Coordinator in our Surrey branch.

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible to:
- Accurately prepare detailed shop drawings and schedules using architectural drawings and hardware detailing as per specifications;
- Coordinate project hardware, estimating, material, and quantity take off;
- Manage the logistics of moving goods from the vendor to the customer;
- Maintain ongoing communication with construction project managers and site superintendents;
- Monitor and report all information to the project manager regarding ordering, supply, progression, and coordination of products;
- Coordinate project documentation, change orders, technical drawings, progress claims, and quality control documentation in support of the project life cycle;
- Constantly update product knowledge;
- Provide exceptional customer service, and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Take a proactive and professional approach to trouble-shooting and have strong organizational abilities.
Your Experience:
- Ideally, you will bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the industry;
- Proven ability to apply technical knowledge and code requirements associated with production and review of technical drawings;
- Foundational experience and knowledge of Division 8 and 10 scopes of work, specifically with building openings (doors, frames, and hardware);
- Architectural technology background is considered an asset;
- CET designation and/or AHC credentials considered an asset.
